I may sound prudey, but I do not read anything with the “F” word on its cover. Sorry.

@Sarah not pruddy at all. I didnt mind the cussing. But with that name i was expecting a hilarious book. This was not. Not at all

It has a great point but could be over generalized easily

I started to read it I wasn’t fond of the bro mentality the examples of getting girls blah blah blah but I do like the core mentality

@Tabs Exactly this! How many times does he bring up his man-whoring days? I was rolling my eyes so hard.

The best parts are when he stopped talking about himself. I honestly think the book could have been half the length and got the message across.

Rae Donnellan honestly that is most self help books in my experience. There were parts though that were so cliche and cringe worthy. I do love the concept I just wish the writing was better….on a serious note do guys really think that simplistically? If that is the case than maybe that is why they aren’t getting any action lol

I was really pleasantly surprised. Yes there were cheesy moments but I found it helpful

Yep! For me it was a fun read yet in a way it’s not a bad attitude to apply to so many stupid situations we worry over. I liked it.

I got halfway through it and just felt it was a little repetitive. After a while it got on my nerves.

I like the attitude of the book, but the contradictions drove me insane. “do this, but like, only if you feel like it”

I just can’t read an actual book with that title…I’m not a prude…I just think books are more dignified than that…

Disagree, someone wrote it and it was published, a book it a book. There are many others many could say the same thing about.

Jan

Yeah, not my sense of humor, or choices of words, either. But I know lots will resonate with that title.

I have started it in audio, so I can’t say I’ve read it… the first chapter seemed to be about not giving a f… about status symbols and so I wasn’t impressed because I already don’t give an f about that but I intend to slog away with the rest of it sometime…

I think I gave it 3stars. It was alright. I started out strong…was pretty into it. I lost interest… had to force myself to finish.

Troy

That stinks, starting strong and slowing down in a book is always the worst.

1
Rachel

yeah… I know a lot of people really liked it. I think maybe just not my type of book ??‍♀️

1
Troy

Im not big on self help books or ones telling me not how to give a F***+, I got that figured out lol. I read to escape reality.

0
Rachel

Exactly. I never had read one…but the reviews looked pretty good…and it seemed it would have some humor to help keep it interesting.
Reading is my getaway too ?

1
Rachel

Of course maybe we wouldn’t need to escape and getaway if we learned how to not give a F*ck. ??

1
Troy

@Rachel you’re so right!!! And stop whining when shit doesn’t go out way!

1

Yes and it was great! It has helped me so much!

Wasn’t a fan. The edgy title makes for a brilliant marketing scheme. Yet, the content leaves much to be desired.

I loved it, It was my first self help book. You see, I am not fan of such genre, but I thought I will experiment with this one. I found first pages interesting, so I thought I could finish it, and I finished reading my first ever self help book ?.
