Very special book with a history for me. I gave it to my first important boyfriend in college and every time I see my copy on my bookcase I remember him. I’m 72 and remembering grows more and more special.

A long time favorite of mine. Very special. I have been reading it every year since about 1984.

My husband did a calligraphy of a quote from the Profit…. “When you love you should not say God is in my heart but rather, I am in the heart of God” we used it on our 50th anniversary invitations and framed it for our living room wall. Oh yes, we are in our 70’s!

Yes, decades ago, and found it profoundly moving and thought-provoking. I bought another copy last year and felt the same way. Did you know there is an animated film of it that came out last year? It’s quite lovely and worth seeing if you love/like the book.

I first read it when I was about 19 and have read it many times since- have to say at each different time in my life when I have read it, I have gleaned something new. It is a definite must for anyone who hasn’t read it.

It is a Classic. Everyone had it on their bookshelves when I was in college in the late 60s. That and Rod McKuen’s poetry.
