It sounds interesting, I downloaded a sample to see if it peaks my interest. I’m kind of Leary about the story being told from three different POV’s if that makes sense.
I really enjoyed it, but I do agree with Kayla that the characters were annoying. However, it was still a 5 star read for me because I didn’t figure it out until right near the end, and I had a hard time putting it down as a result :).
I have, I don’t think it was all that and was surprised when it was made into a movie..I’d give it 3 stars and I was able to figure it out, fairly early on, though it did make me question myself a couple of times..
I put it away. I found it boring and annoying. My sister goes on and on about how great it is, so I plan to read it after all, this summer if not before.
Yep, but you have to read it pretty quick, I think, or you’ll lose your place.. Kinda confusing if you stop and start, bc of all the changing of characters.. But it’s a good book.. I read it after Gone Girl and saw a lot of similarities..
The most annoying part is there is not a character to root for. They are all pretty terrible people. The main narrator is drunk and blacks out a lot which makes her an unreliable narrator. They portrayed her more humanly flawed in the movie so I liked her more there but overall the characters are frustratingly self-absorbed.
It was entertaining enough, but it didn’t change my life or challenge the way I think or feel, which is what I yearn for from a book… worth a read though
The book itself was average, but the ending was excellent. Many people couldn’t relate to the characters, though, and I completely understand .. I still enjoyed the book, despite not liking any of the characters 🙂
I tried it first as an audio book, but it was impossible to follow with the different voices and different times. I did finish the print version, but wasn’t impressed enough to want to see the movie. Put me down as a “meh”.
Yup, and didn’t like it. If you like authors more like Gillian Flynn (absolutely cannot stand her), then you’ll probably like this book. Similar styles.
I could not get through it. Very hard for me to follow. I recently watched the movie and might go back and read again since it might be a bit easier to follow
I did and thought it was an ok read. I didn’t really love it because the characters just bugged me:)

same!
Same!
I didn’t really like it… I thought the pacing was off and that the situation that unfolds was just too challenging to be realistic.
I liked it but didn’t love it like a lot of people. 3 star read for me.
I didn’t like it either. But I know people who did
I enjoyed it, read it in 2 days ??
I loved it!
I read the book which haunted me for days after I finished. I don’t plan on seeing the movie.

Took me a little bit to finish it but I’m glad I did. 3 and a half stars for me!
Seems I’m in agreement with most…liked it.

Yup. Didn’t love it. Actually liked the movie much better which is very unusual!

I tried and put it down.

Yes, it’s not that great.
I read it for book club. I liked it.
I enjoyed it via audiobook.
The book itself was average, but the ending was excellent. Many people couldn’t relate to the characters, though, and I completely understand .. I still enjoyed the book, despite not liking any of the characters 🙂
Yes, very well written as it held my interest!
Loved it.
I really liked it a lot. Loved the unreliable narrator character
I tried to read it a few times….I can’t get past the first few chapters….I don’t know why because everyone else I talked to loved it!
Yep. I didn’t like it because the characters are so unlikable
Yes really good
I tried it first as an audio book, but it was impossible to follow with the different voices and different times. I did finish the print version, but wasn’t impressed enough to want to see the movie. Put me down as a “meh”.
I tried to read it twice. Couldn’t get through it. My BF read it and was not impressed.

Yep. I didn’t like Gone Girl either.
hated Gone Girl.
I really liked it!
I read a lot of mysteries. I thought it was just run of the mill.
Great book
Girl in Cabin 10 is better IMO
Meh
Yes, really enjoyed it!
Yes. Loved it
Soooo good
Yes, very good. There is a movie too that is meh…
Yes, I read it in one day. Fast paced great read!
Yes. Really liked it. Saw movie also.
Yes. It was something that I wanted to keep reading, but the ending was no surprise.
Yes, really liked it too! I’ve lived in England so it wasn’t difficult to imagine her traveling on the train & seeing in windows!!
Yes I read it, it was ok, BUT I also was on a psychological thriller kick when I read it so it lost some of its appeal
I abandoned it. The characters were unlikable, and just could not get into it.
I read it, but had a hard time getting through it.
I didn’t understand the popularity….thought it was not better than fair.
The plot was to dark for my liking. I read and finished it, but I won’t be reading it again.
Yeah I did. It’s a page-turner. Unpleasant story but it’ll keep you reading.
I read it! Its really fast and easy to read but not that good
YES, liked the book better than the movie. Definitely a page turner!
Yes
Yes. Pretty unlikable characters and some pretty depressing parts. But well-paced, I thought.
I liked it a lot.
It’s entertaining. It held my interest. But it’s pretty dark.
I tried several times and just couldn’t get through it.
It is dark…don’t like those.
I liked it, it was different and a little harder read but worth it.
Yes! Amazing book
It’s a good window into addiction.
Loved it!
I liked it, but it was confusing at times
I could not get through it. Very hard for me to follow. I recently watched the movie and might go back and read again since it might be a bit easier to follow
I’ve tried two other times to read it and it is just hard to do.
I enjoyed it! A good, entertaining read.
