Oh my I’m the odd one out, tried to read the first one but gave up, the authors repetitiveness of telling who was who and where they stood in the clan drove crazy

Edit: really should proofread before commenting, the last bit should read drove me crazy, sorry I’ll go sit in the corner now lol ?

I didn’t think I would like the book at all, but I was fascinated by this book and the second one as well. I think it was with the third book that I thought the author had run out of steam and I read very little of that one.

I read the first one and thought it was great. Out of my comfort zone I think which is maybe why I never read the others. But I really did get a lot out of the first one, and getting out of your comfort zone often gives you new perspectives!
