yes. i’m a chemist. didn’t like it. maybe it just didn’t sit well because the story and character doesn’t match the title from a real chemist’s pov.

I loved the twilight books yet couldn’t get into The Host so I’m kind of undecided. I’ve been in a bit of a rut and wondered if maybe that would help.

It’s been on my list for a while but it’s never bumped up very far….

See that’s me too @Anna. I feel like I should because I paid for it but then I think I bought it more out of loyalty and curiosity than anything.

I need to be more like you. No joke. I’ve bought sooooo many books, mostly on sale, that I still haven’t gotten to yet ??‍♀️

@Naryamie I have a,bad habit of prioritizing library books over bought books, then continuing to get more library books that have to be finished first again. But it’s still get read whether it’s good or not lol

See that is me too. Library & Kindle Unlimited books when I have them, and so the ones I bought just sort of sit there waiting for me to some day remember I have them and mostly they just sort of sit. I honestly think I have at least a couple hundred in Kindle books alone waiting for me to read and considering I always get them on sale [$4.99 or less] that is a lot of books waiting for me.

I feel like everyone who’s had it on the list for a while should band together and read it now.

I actually really liked it. And I find most traditionally published bestsellers to be boring anymore.

I’m in! I started it 7 months ago and just wasn’t interested at the time. I only made it 10%. BUT I also had to have a friend convince me to finish reading The Host which took me forever to get into and then I ended up loving it… So it’s worth a shot!!
