It’s my favourite book, I collect editions of it and absolutely love it. It is a very distinct style though, and people seem to either love it or hate it

It’s an important book. Holden is an unreliable narrator and, of course, it’s dated now which makes it difficult for modern readers

I didn’t fully understand it when I read it the first time. But reading it again and researching what some of the themes and imagery meant has increased my enjoyment and understanding.

A classic book is considered one where the lessons repeat in our lives, throughout our lives. They never truly leave us.

Nope, no one has read that one. ?

In my opinion, it is great for teens (especially boys), but once you are past that, Holden is annoying and tedious.
