@Nicolette I’ve read it many times. That is the only book that I could really get into. I haven’t seen the movie.
Read it a long time ago, watched the movie and i will always remember it as one of my all time favorite! ❤️
I loved it SO much! So disappointed in the movie. As great as Clint & Meryl are, they were not right for those roles.
I never read the book but I had a friend visit( I live near the bridges of Madison County) and we went to see the bridges and then watched the movie. I guess I didn’t realize they had a book out.
Loved it and bought copies for friends back in the 80s I think. Enjoyed the movie also. Tried reading his other book but didn’t connect with it.
Yes, and I’ve met the author. I’m from Iowa the author was friends with people I worked for years ago.

There are two sequels to that book. Can’t remember their names, but they are excellent. Google it if you’re interested.

Yes, it was a good book as well as the movie with Meryl Streep (one of my favorite actresses) and Clint Eastwood.
