He’s great! Quite graphic and gritty and the language can be a bit strong but the characters are brilliant and the plots are intriguing

I’ve read the whole series twice now. OK, I haven’t gotten to a second reading of the last three books. But I haven’t even re-read Rankin or Mina (yet) so yeah, I think he’s worth a read.

I started the series a couple of months ago and have just finished the 5th book, Blind Eye which I must say I didn’t enjoy quite as much as the others. Having said that I will carry on reading about Logan McRae as I love the character and, as other people have said, the dark humour.
