@Sally I loved this book and thankfully only had a casual relationship with people stricken with this devastating disease. I drove for Meals on Wheels. I found the ending comforting.

Please stay with it….it is a wonderful book and one author that I jump on new releases. Her writing does imProve with each book. Still Alice is one of my all time favs. Also, if you have someone you love with this horrible disease, you will find the ending comforting. The movie was ?

It’s not a story you can pace rapidly. The progress of the disease is gradual and highlights the fallout from Alice, her family and her job.
