Absolutely but you really need to read the trilogy in order.

I have it to read. When I looked to see which book was the first of the trilogy I found out that there were three other books with Penn Cage and the trilogy is books 4-6. After reading comments. I decided to start at the beginning. I am almost through Book 1 The Quiet Game. I am listening to it, and I am really enjoying it.

There are other Penn Cage books before those too. But those three have the same story line. 🙂

So I don’t need to read the other three first? I read the first one and it was great but haven’t read the others yet

1
Keri

@Lisa no not necessarily. They are all good. But these three are part of a specific storyline and should be read in order. 🙂

Keri

They do refer in passing to some events from previous Penn Cage books but the Natchez Burning trilogy takes place in a span of maybe…like, several weeks if I remember correctly. It would be one long book but each is about 700 pages by themselves.

2
Suzanne

Yes but you have to read the other books with the Penn Cage character to understand

I think Quiet Game is the actual 1st Penn Cage. So you can start from there…and get all the history of Penn….
His books are all awesome! Especially the Penn Cage books.
