I agree. I thought it would be a good read about a 14 year old girl in California. But it became so violent that I had to put it down. Her dad is a horrible character.
I think I finished that in one day. I couldn’t stop.
I loved the writer’s style and language. I was so hooked!

I found it too disturbing to read. Got about 50 pages in and gave up.
