I was a huge fan of his writing 20 odd years ago and read all of his Alex Delaware books until around 2001 or 2002. It would be best if you read them in order as there are changes in some relationships, and sometimes Kellerman refers to events in past stories.
Numbering them would efinitely would be much easier than using the book list in the novel, especially as sometimes they don’t include all the books in the series in the list.
I liked her for a while but her characters got too “lucky”. She is an orthodox Jew, and her detective/husband just happens to find out he was adopted and is really Jewish? I couldn’t get over that!
I’ve read about 2/3 of his. After so many years of the Dr Delaware- Milo Sturgiss books they all seemed to be the same with different characters. Kind of cooky cutter plots.
I’ve read most of his Alex Delaware books, I would recommend reading them in order, while not strictly necessary, he does develop the recurring characters and some things will make more sense if you have the context from the earlier books.
Yep you do I have read all of them the stories of the main characters Alex ,Robin & Milo evolve as they go along
ok thanks. I unfortunately have book 3 and 15. Now need to find book 1.
Best list I could find out of his latest book ?
Quite often lists in books are not in order. I would check Fantastic Fiction for accurate list. ?

wish they marked them on the covers what numbers they are. I picked up 3 and 15 at a library sale. Ugh.

Robin- me too. After a while I gave up because keeping track was too hard (use to have a little book I kept).
I prefer his wife, Faye Kellerman. She does detective murder mysteries.

I have all of hers too & there son Jesse Kellerman
Yeah he is okay but tends to bog down.???
Try secondhand stores (Thrift shops etc) they are pretty common to pick up. I used to read them years ago but I agree I like his wife a little better.

I like Jonathan’s books but they’re a little formulaic. Prefer his wife, Faye Kellerman.
me too
I agree exactly.
Agreed. Much more in depth character development.
Not unless you want to.
Yes I’ve read them and no to the order.
Ditto.
Prefer his earlier books
Great author.
I like his books
Not a fan! Only tried a couple though.
I’ve read a lot of his. I don’t think you absolutely need to read them in order but I think he references back to some things.
