I haven’t finished it yet HOWEVER the things I will say… I believe its the authors first book, and it starts off pretty slow, those are the cons. The pros, its less “magic” and more supernatural and its based off of the authors family and I really liked those aspects. So far, I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

I’d agree with that. Not sure I ever understood certain aspects of the plot but overall entertaining. Same with the sequel about Titanic.

I just finished it yesterday. It was good but the MC got on my nerves a lot. The story kept me hanging in there not the characters.
It was one of my two 2017 fav reads it has some slow moments but it was so good
