Our book club just read it. Great literature! We decided it was a cross between Harry Potter, Divergent and Wakanda from The Black Panther. ?

I did (was a present for my teenage niece but got intrigued by the first pages; am 43 by the way) and am now waiting impatiently for part 2! At times I wish authors were like Netflix. Sending you the whole thing at once.

Nice! Thanks all. Knowing it was for a younger audience, I didn’t know what to expect so I will check it out!

It’s great! Yes kinda true to form with it being a girl and boy fighting to save their people but there are some good twists that even took me by surprise and I’m very picky when it comes to YA books but I highly recommend this one. The strength of the leading females is what had me hooked
