They are amazing Vera and Shetland I prefer the books to the telly versions Jimmy is far more interesting.

Yes and yes. I was impressed with the first Vera Stanhope novel – The Crow Trap- the story was allowed to develop before Vera appeared, the characters were well written as was the story

Absolute loved the Shetland series, and I was fortunate enough to meet her at a Bouchercon. What a lovely person! A new series – Two Rivers – set in North Devon is soon to be available. Can’t wait!

I really like them, preferring the Vera books to the Shetland, yet TV programmes the other way round. Really good reads, well written.

Yup l think they are pretty good story lines l went on Google and got them through play store . Just went through the lot one after the other until l had done the lot. Loved them.??

Yes wonderful author I enjoyed Shetland more in book form as with bad hearing I had difficulty with the accents but I enjoyed the Vera series both as a book and as a series as Brenda Blethyn is a marvellous actress. I am sure you will enjoy them.x
