I have rarely gotten the book on release day. Usually a week or so later (even later sometimes ?)! I heard it has to do with where you live and shipping times, because I think Ontario people get it closer to release. I’m in Alberta. If I’m desperate to read it on release, I will always go to the store, or back up the buy with an e-copy. If it’s a good sale and I know I can wait a week or two, I usually still just preorder with them.
Where are you in Canada? You may get it quicker out East. And if you don’t mind the possible wait, then definitely get it from Chapters! I’ve even ordered from Amazon and had to wait! The only surefire way to read on release I’ve found is an e-copy or going to the store.
Yes! I love it. The arrival time isn’t very consistent though. I’ve gotten it the day of release, a week after, and my most recent preorder arrived a week early. I don’t really mind tho, I can be patient and it’s worth it for the price ?

I can just get it a lot cheaper on there than amazon so I’m trying to decide!

@Emma there is a shipping location in BC and I get it quite a bit faster if they ship from there. You might even get lucky!
