I bought the entire series for 10 cents a piece I hoped it was good I loved outlander and at that price I couldn’t lose
It was a rough start for me (was a book club pick), but I ended up really enjoying it. I read the next couple of books before loosing interest.
I loved the first book. I use the difference between Neanderthal and cro magnon intelligence described in the book to explain the difference between high functioning autism and neurotypical intelligence.
AMAZING Series. I read it in high school. I just skipped over the pages of excruciating detail of flora and fauna.
I loved the first book but the second irritated me so much that I decided not to continue the series. I have several friends that love the entire series though.
2nd book was my least favorite, but I really liked the 3rd. 4th was good. I started losing interest by the 5th but I finished it. I could not finish the 6th. Give it another try.
Yeah the second one is my least favorite so far,I started the third one yesterday morning and I’m nearly halfway, it’s really drawn me back in..

loved the 1st two sooo much clan of the cave bear I have read about 5 or six times and It never fails to hit me in the feels from the 3rd book on it can get a bit repetitive as the author feels the need to fill in what happened in prior books each time so the further you get the more fillers you get I guess coz the gaps between books was quite large so it was a recap but It felt like you got less new plot each time . overall I loved the series though.
Fabulous have read them many times! It’s kind of like outlander/cross-stitch series tho in the sense that it gets a bit repetitive a few books in, but by then you are invested in the characters and want to find out what happens.
I actually prefer clan over outlander but it could be that I read clan first (prob 20 yrs ago) and only read outlander 5 ish or so years ago

I’m reading the third book right now! I started the first one just after ny, I’m really enjoying it.. the first half of the second book slowed down a bit cos she introduced new characters and I just wanted to know what happened to the original protagonist lol.. but I’m 323 pages into the third book and i only started it about 36 hours ago ??
I read it a long time ago and loved it. Amazon has a Kindle trilogy named The Storyteller Trilogy by B Harrison. I downloaded a sample first and was drawn in right away. It is my next read ❤️

Years ago…I LOVED IT!!! I remember it took until page 86 before I began loving it. (Don’t ask me why I remember that from the 80’s!) 🙂 I read the sequels, too, but, they didn’t measure up, but at least the 1st sequel is worth it.
I listened to the first book on audiobook and thought it was excellent.
My husband loved that series. I couldn’t stand the first book. Just depends.

They are amazing books, well written, well researched..that being said it stretched credibility a bit by some of the things that happened, but if you can forgive the author that then you will very much enjoy the series ..

This was the book (and series) that turned me from a non-reader to a ravenous reader when I was 13.
Loved the series.
I loved them in my late twenties/early thirties. I tried to read them again in my 50s and they lost all appeal, so I guess it depends on your age.
