I have never read Jane Eyre either. It must be good though. It has 5,725 reviews on amazon and the overall reviews are 4 ½ stars. What have we been missing?!

I’ve read Little Women, Little Men and Jo’s Boys! I make it a point to reread them every couple of years.

Also read Jane Eyre a couple of times as well.

Both are good stories;very 19th century,though and don’t seem all that relevant to present day life unless you can see through the difference in conventional behavior. The local PBS station is showing the 1944 movie Jane Eyre tonight at 9 fyi.

I loved Jane Eyre, loved her strength of character. Read it then watch the movie version with William Hurt, in my opinion the best adaptation.

I absolutely love Little Women! I read it when I was in elementary school & twice since then. I was happy when my Book Club decided to read it after I requested it. We had a good conversation! We watched the movie too. 🙂 Jane Erye is on my to read list. Happy Reading!

I have read Jane Eyre every year since I was 17 years old. I am now 65. It’s a beautifully written story. I read Little Women but it didn’t draw me in the same way.
