Little Women is a great read if you can get past/understand the language for the time period.
thanks my normal reading is horror and mystery but I want to explore other genres

I had to read Jane Eyre for my English class in highschool and I hated it. It was probably one of the most boring books I have ever read.
Not a Jane Eyre fan, but Little Women is one of my all time favorites.

I have never read Jane Eyre either. It must be good though. It has 5,725 reviews on amazon and the overall reviews are 4 ½ stars. What have we been missing?!
I’ve read Little Women, Little Men and Jo’s Boys! I make it a point to reread them every couple of years.
Also read Jane Eyre a couple of times as well.
Loved Little Women. Can’t remember if I liked Jane Eyre. They were both read too too long ago. I should revisit them.
Little Women is a classic for me. I have read it multiple times. Same with Anne of Green Gables.

Both are good stories;very 19th century,though and don’t seem all that relevant to present day life unless you can see through the difference in conventional behavior. The local PBS station is showing the 1944 movie Jane Eyre tonight at 9 fyi.

I loved Jane Eyre, loved her strength of character. Read it then watch the movie version with William Hurt, in my opinion the best adaptation.

Little Women is the first book I ever read all by myself. I loved it then and I love it still.
Little Women is great. I know Jane Eyre is a classic and I’m supposed to love it, but I found it creepy and dark, not my style at all.
They evoke very different emotions, but both are treasures.
I loved both of them. Both vastly different stories, yet amazingly written I think all women need to read both

Little Women is my most favorite book.
I read Little Women and compared that to Pride and Prejudice. I kind of like Pride and Prejudice a bit better.

Jane Eyre is absolutely AMAZING! There was times I literally tossed my book away from me because I needed a minute
I have read Jane Eyre every year since I was 17 years old. I am now 65. It’s a beautifully written story. I read Little Women but it didn’t draw me in the same way.
