Has anyone found any books like Bridget Jones?

Has anyone found any books like Bridget Jones? I also finished Sue Perkins’ book a while ago and am missing that type of English humor. I usually need a funny read in between my heavier stories. Thanks!

@Emily I read Watermelon by Marian Keyes right after BJD and loved it. Not quite as kooky as Bridget, but v. funny. (And all her books are pretty good.) Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic series is really funny too!

This book is so totally worth it! “Travels with Boogie” by Mark Wallington. If you like travel, hiking, camping out on the trails along the southeastern coast of England. But the humor added by having this particular dog along is the icing on the cake! The perfect balance between scenery, historical facts, & an ironic sense of humor makes this an amazing book. If you enjoy the wry British humor, this should tick your box.

If you aren’t just looking for female centric books, I remember Round Ireland With A Fridge, by Tony Hawks, being funny. An older book with a more subtle British humor is Jane and Prudence by Barbara Pym.
