Nope! Less than 100 pages in to my first book. For me, that’s a pretty good pace for 2 days though. Lol.

Reply
Meghan

Finished my first today, half way through the second and about a 1/3 of the way through an audiobook as well ?

0
Reply
Anna

No, but I’ve started three, lol. One is well over 1000 pages and will take me a while to get through, one I read 300 pages of and ended up DNFing, now I’m about 75% of the way through Alloy of Law by Brandon Sanderson and loving it, I should be done sometime tonight.

I still can’t figure out how you guys read so fast! :O

2
Reply
Anna

I don’t know about everyone else, but speaking personally, it helps to have a lot of free time, no kids or significant other, and not many other hobbies, lol.

0
Pauline

My main problem is falling asleep in the middle of a reading session. Lol. I just can’t keep reading for hours but I wish I could! Stupid work getting in the way! I don’t even have kids, just a husband and cat. Lol.

1
Pauline

And it’s true I could read more if I cut down on online time. 😛

0
Anna

I have a complete inability to fall asleep while reading, which helps me out too, I guess. I’ve never been one for dozing off. Falling asleep for me typically requires laying in bed and staring at the ceiling for around two hours ?

0
Pauline

I guess both extremes aren’t ideal. ?I never used to fall asleep so easily, but I feel like once I hit 30 it started happening a lot more. Of course when I actually get into bed to sleep, that’s when I’m wide awake!

0
Jeannie

Are you ladies retired?

0
Pauline

I definitely am not! Only about 25 or so years to go…maybe ?

0
Anna

@Jeannie nope! I’m 30. I work overnights at a group home though, so I do get to spend most of my time at work reading.
