I did 30 years ago before the internet days. I was always disappointed with the “you may select from” and stopped my subscription. Much easier to shop for books I actually want
Years ago I signed up for a club for children’s books. Because I had no kids (the books were for nieces and nephews) they decided to address them to The Stalls Children. I always read the books before giving them and since I was stationed in a US Embassy overseas, everyone there wanted to read them as well! The selections were a hit – with the kids and the people at the Embassy.
I’m almost all ebook so I haven’t joined but I follow them and read many of their selections. They have really good choices so I think it would be worth it.

Can you only choose books from the months selections or can you choose past months books?
