During the movie “Paper Towns” when Radar said he was bringing his girlfriend with them on there trip, I said aloud “no your not” by accident. The girl behind me started laughing. Lol

JUST WHY” “THAT HAPPENED IN LIKE BOOK 4 YOU CANT JUST SKIP TWO BOOKS!” “….THAT HAPPENED IN THE LAST BOOK!!! NO NO NO YOU CANT DO THAT THATS JUST NO THE DIRECTOR SHOULD NEVER DIRECT A FILM AGAIN!” I swear we were the only two people in the theater but he was so embarrassed that its funny for me to think back and laugh at

Honestly, I hardly ever do. I try to keep in mind that movies and books are different mediums and some things have to be changed in order to appeal to the audience. And also, if the author of the series signs off on it, I’m usually even more understanding. ??‍♀️ now there are certain films where they have gotten so far office track, that I can’t stand them. The Divergent series is one example. The first movie was okay…but by the third one, I had no clue what I was watching. But that wasn’t a huge deal either because I don’t necessarily love the books either.

My husband HATES watching movies with me if they were books because then entire time I critique it and tell him how it happens in the book. ??
