I love thrift books and never had an issue. On thrift books you get to pick what kind of condition they’re in because they’re used but they’d never send you a messed up book.

You can also purchase used books on Barnes & Nobles site. They’ve all been in good condition, but while you may pay $1.99 for the book, it’s $5 for shipping ?

Yes they are usually in good condition. Downside to online is when you have to pay shipping because you could buy a $2 book but pay $6 to ship it. I once ordered 8 books for $10 but shipping brought my price to $35. It was insane. I buy books from thrift books. They have a large selection, everything is in good condition and if something is missing a dust jacket it will let you know. Books are great prices, shipping is free when over $15. And you get a lot of reward money which means more books!
