How do you do that and what would that be goodfor
To have in one place a list of all the books you own. It’s on the goodreads app

Almost done. I have loaded my Daughters collection first.
I wish I had a barcode scanner that could put them all into Goodreads for me! Far too many to put them all in, so they usually just get added when I read them.
Doesn’t your version have a scan option? I can access my Goodreads on my phone while I am out or tablet at home.
I don’t know if my lack of phone signal at my house is the issue, but when I try to scan using the Goodreads app, it just keeps thinking about it and doesn’t pull it up.
Try it next time your in your Local Library or Bookshop. I used mine on my phone alot

I’ve added most of my books, but not all of them.
I don’t see where you add the books you already own just the ones you want to read. Unless you create a bookshelf on there for that.

I added a lot of my Amazon books but I have thousands…I wasn’t sure if that would clog up my friends’ feeds or not so I only added the ones I was actually going to read. I have lots of freebies.

I’m not adding books till I reread them as I’m not 100% sure when I read them all?
GoodReads is perfect for keeping track of that stuff. I forget when I read a book and just go into the app and look.
Well, I mean I didn’t get goodreads till I’d already been reading 23 yrs. and some of my books I last read when I was young. So I’m putting them in when I reread them

no, a lot on my list is stuff I don’t own, only a fraction is of what I actually own, I have a lot on my shelf, so when I get through so much on my list via the library I go through my own stash and as I am getting ready to read I place it on the list.
Would love to put my collection on Goode ads or a similar site. Too many to do, however. Would take years. A scanner would help.
The goodreads app has a scanner if my memory serves me correctly.

I had kept a written list and added them all to Goodreads a couple of years ago. It took a lot of work, but now it is so easy to add books as they are read. I also keep adding to my “to read” list.
no … I dont know how to do it and I have to many books. (and I dont own a scanner!!)
On the app goodreads it has a built in scanner for the books barcodes

You don’t have to scan. You can just type in the titles and add them.

I have added all of the books I own and have read. My tbr books I add as I read them. Unfortunately, I can’t remember all the books I’ve read but don’t own. I add those if I see one and remember it.

No, because I’m in a phase where I probably will get rid of some books right after I read them. Lots of them are in boxes, trying to read them empty, not succeeding very well but still trying ?

If i see a book i like i add it to want to read. If i get a book i also ad it there and as i read i update it to read or currently reading its easier that way

I recorded all that I remember reading .and it’s helping a lot so I keep track
