I’ve read Mr Mercedes and thought it was very good
Read all of them and they are just great. Different from the older SK novels but so good! Would recommend!
Yes all of them. Not SK usual style. Would only give them 5/10 and say they are ok but a little slow. Finders Keepers the best of the bunch
I did and loved the first 2, but I found the last one a little bit off track.
Loved them. Stephen King without the supernatural. To an extent anyway!
I thought that the third book had supernatural elements in it
Yeah, but not as much as a lot of his novels.
Joyland & The Colorado Kids are also crime novels
Have you read Stephen kings revival? Totally different but addictive

@Chris Not too sure they are my type of book.
@Susan I really think he is probably the best storyteller on the planet. He observes human nature so acutely and marries it to a story. The story is always good but the rest……!
Yes. I just finished the third one. The first two were brilliant, the third one pretty good but a little complicated. Overall though, superb.
I cried at the cop’s gravestone. Very moving.

Yeah, sorry about that. It is pretty clear that he has terminal cancer, though.
Reading Mr Mercedes right now, with Finders Keepers on my TBR pile.
