Well I do kinda agree with Stephanie’s comment, I didn’t enjoy it. Though having s hard reading a second time but maybe I’m just not where I was then (plus I’m now in my 30’s so that doesn’t help)

@Nafisa Yes you will. Ive read all her books. You can skip series and be fine. There are some characters you may not know and some references but the base stories are really strong.

Jace is honestly to die for, and Alec is so cute (if you like guys, and especially hot ones, that is). Isabelle is really hot and badass too. And Magnus… The point is the characters are great, the plot is great, the humour is great, it’s all great :’)

I would say read the Infernal Devices first. It’s the better one in my opinion & gives you a good idea of the world & Cassie’s writing style
