Same here. Hard to choose. The Last Lecture really resonated with me. And for fiction, Water for Elephants, by Sara Gruen, was pretty good. So was The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman.
Robin Cook – Vital Signs read it in 10th grade I fell in love been reading ever since now I own 2,000 books in my collection 16 years later and ill never forget the lavender lotion I used while reading it that my grandma bought me
@Alanea has a Kindreds of Arkadia series and Bewitched and Bewildered. Shelly Laurenston’s Pride and Magnus series really anything by either of those authors. S. E. Smith is wonderful. @M.k. is really good. If you like more books like LOTR Elizabeth Moon has a series called The Paks series. If you like YA the Mortal Instruments series is great.
To Kill a Mockingbird. Why it’s my favorite? Because it hits every note. Small town life, racial inequality, family, love, bullying, first impressions, honesty, friendship, kindness. I truly could go on and on. I’ve read it every year since I first read it at the age of 13. I’ve recommended it many times and would recommend it to another million people if I could. ?
The Count of Monte Cristo! It’s an awesome revenge story!
I think I have it narrowed down to Animal Farm and Fahrenheit 451, but there are so many more on my favorites shelf.
I have hundreds of favorite books. No way can I choose one.

The Troop by Nick Cutter. It was the creepiest book I’ve ever read. And I thought about it long after I finished it.
Underworld by Don De Lillo. Such ambition to the writing

Asking a bookworm to name their favorite book is like asking a mother to pick a favorite child.
