I’m (once again) reading my way through the In Death series by Jd Robb. I’m currently on book number 7, Holiday in Death.

1
Reply
Becky

@Ellie I want to re-reread them all in succession. I have been caught up for so many years now that it’s hard to remember all of the details from Naked in Death and beyond. Oh! And make sure you find the In Death novellas in the anthologies she does with other authors. They add to the stories!

A very good writer from the pulps of the 1950’s. Charles Williams. Yeah, I never heard of him either, but perfect conman/revenge type story that will (according to the intro) unravel. Action and dialogue. No boring long descriptions of dusty old motel rooms, thank God. ‘Nothing in Her Way.’ (Stark House Noir Classics).
