Six of crows is better, but Shadow of Bone gives you the context of the world. I read six of crows first, then shadow and bone, but realized I would have been much less confused if I’d read Shadow and Bone first.

Shadow and Bone trilogy!
Shadow and Bone. I started Six of Crows first and I wasn’t exactly confused, but I knew I’d understand much better if I read the trilogy before I got any further.
I’ve only read the Six of Crows Duology and I loved it. I didn’t feel confused
