Loved Maze Runner series. Hunger games was a cool premise but the writing was only ok for me.

I hated the ending of Maze Runner – such a cop-out! Much preferred the Hunger Games.

You know there are two other books in the Maze Runner series, don’t you? And they tie up all the loose ends very well.

I meant the end of the series not the end of the first book.

The end of the trilogy is a complete deus ex machina & left me feeling incredibly unfulfilled.

SPOILER
I love Hunger Games more better. Even though Katniss is the main character, she don’t take credit for everything. While in Maze Runner, Thomas is the one to discover the code, the one so special, the one who helped the first kid died at the dark hall, the one who helped Winston, the one who got shot, just like for everything!!! But, I still love it. Nothing beats my first series.
