I read it when I was 16 so …. it was really good and exciting . With all that oh mama yay romance and a crown Prince ? Yeah I was a girly mess back then .
But now I’m just gonna say ew and go …

@Zouhour might be an age thing. I read it at the same age and loved it so much. Not so sure I would l like it if I read it now as a 27 year old.

Exactly .. that’s why I don’t reread . Your taste could change with time you know . Depends on your mood and life experience I guess . I’m not sure. But that’s why I like fantasy more .

I read the series because I had started it and it’s like a personal goal to never DNF something I start. But it was rough near the end.

Gah, I am struggling so hard with the love triangle back and forth. She’s coming off as whiny to me and it’s growing difficult to want to finish.

@Niki well . The whinny and love triangle won’t take long . But I tell you . Keep reading . So you can read the heir and the crown . I like those two books

They get better? My issue is the fact that she is basically leading on these two perfect guys and just can’t decide which perfect hot guy she wants.

Niki Cluff it’s not about getting better , I can’t spoil it but let’s just say the heir and the crown is about different characters .
And well ، just think that America is just going through a selection ? . Besides I like the turn of events politically so … Keep going

I’m so glad it’s not just me. Everyone raves about this series and I just don’t get it

@Niki I made it through. But only because I was bored at the time. It was pretty rough for me. And I couldn’t get past the first couple chapters for the heir. That one was a plot hold from the beginning lol

I loved that series, but I read it years ago, so my feelings may have changed! Lol. I didn’t read the last 2, I didn’t like how she changed America’s character

The last two were based on their daughter. and they were so bad.

The first 3 were alright for me- entertaining and an easy read. The last 2 were pretty bad

It’s very badly written. I only got through the series by skipping entire paragraphs mostly cause I hate leaving books unfinished.

I didn’t have a problem with it, but it was definitely my least favorite. But push through it because The One is SO GOOD.

Those books are awful. I definitely did some flicking to the – completely predictable – end

I read the first book in one day, easy easy read. I’m contemplating on my next library visit to get the next but I kind of know how it all ends anyway because it’s written so basic and easy idk if I want to continue it.

Yes!!! I finished the first book and thought it was decent. I had to put the second book down for awhile. I hate how whiny the girl is in the story.
