Before I read Harry Potter, I had a giant book of fairy tales and I read them over and over again and I´d beg my parents to read the same tales to me again and again. Of course there came a day, when they stopped reading it out loud to me and I started reading them myself.

I’m 64 and Misty of Chincoteague is my favorite. I don’t know where you live but I hope you have been able to go to Chincoteague. I only leave about 3 hours away and I finally went as an adult.

I didn’t have just one favorite. I was fascinated by my Grampa’s McGuffy Readers, loved Dick and Jane, Little Bear books, and the beautifully illustrated little books my mom bought at the grocery store.
