Rin Chupeco is good- she has 2 horror, “The Girl From the Well” and “The Suffering,” & 2 fantasy, “The Bone Witch” and “The Heart Forger,” with the 3rd book coming out in March. For mystery, my favorite is Agatha Christie, can’t top her!

I agree with April about Agatha Christie for mystery. If you haven’t read Verity by Colleen Hoover for thriller that’s a good one. And Gone Girl if you haven’t read that yet either.

I found a new author called Angela Marsons who writes crime thrillers. She’s very good.

The Cainsville series by Kelley Armstrong is fantasy, thriller and a bit of mystery all in one

The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova is one of my favourites – it’s set in Eastern Europe and based on Dracula lore.
