Life Expectancy by Dean Koontz
Charlie Parker series by John Connolly. You need to read them in order I think, but well worth it. Great series.
I liked Stillhouse Lake from Rachel Caine and the sequel, I was entertained (not the most intellectual literary thrillers but fun!)
and Silences of the Lambs and Red Dragon!

I love all of Michael Connelly and John Sandford. Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series is pretty gripping, too.
Anything by H.P.Lovecraft. Ray Bradbury’s October Country. All short stories but guaranteed to give you the creeps.

Archie Sheridan and Gretchen Lowell series. It’s a wonderfully dark series. The first book is titled Heartsick by Chelsea Cain. It’s a thriller involving a detective and serial killer, but it’s much more involved than that.
