@Tamra not related to the original post, but I’m pretty sure yours should be the correct spelling ? I get Ta-MARE-uh more often than Tam-ruh

Tamra

@Tamara I spell my name out for people , letter by letter TAMRA , and they still write TAMARA. ?‍♀️ and call me Tamerah . It’s Tam ruh people! So no spelling hasnt helped! ?

1
Tamara

@Tamra bummer! I was thinking of nixing the A.
I once had a Starbucks barista spell it Tammrrah. Maybe that’s the way to go? ??

0
Tamra

@Tamara lol! Starbucks baristas do that on purpose! It often gets social media time and hence free advertising! ??‍♀️ keep your middle a !

I thought it was an amazing read! Just don’t start it if you have other things to do because you’ll want to keep turning the pages until you’re done.

It literally made me gasp in spots! Note this one is a little polarizing-kind of a love/hate on this page, I’ve noticed!

I feel like Gone Girl is a definite “love it or hate it” type of book. I hated it, hated it so much that it ruined me for reading for a bit. I was so mad that I wasted my time with it. I have to like at least one character in a book that I’m reading to enjoy it and I disliked everyone in it. But then, others really enjoyed it. Happy reading?

My mom hated the ending but I thought it was totally awesome ??

1
Jennifer

@Lexie Yep, that’s about how it goes?

0
Mary

@Jennifer I hate it. It took me forever just to finish it. Wish I never finished it.

1
Sarah

I didn’t like it and the ending nearly made me throw it across the room.

1

Mary

@Sarah I thought I was the only one that hated it. I agree with you. I hated the ending.

1
Sarah

@Mary I feel like I’m in the minority with this book. So many people liked it and I wonder if I missed something.

0
Mary

I can’t say much without giving away the book ending but I feel the ending was so wrong. I would never have settled like that. Maybe my values are totally different. I don’t know but everyone has a different option about this book and that perfectly ok. I just did not care for it or its ending.

Books are like life. The boring parts give you time to recover from the scary or exciting things. Jumping from high to high would be exhausting. The valleys are necessary.
