Absolutely read it.
I’m okay waiting a few years between books. I’ll go back and read them before the next comes out, I’ll enjoy them and be ready for the next. No problem for me.

I’ll read it at some point but my personal rule is my tbr pile is always first and that stack could take a little bit.

I still haven’t even finished Dance with Dragons haha, but sure, I’ll read Winds of Winter, but I’m also not confident Dream of Spring will come out in a reasonable time frame

I probably won’t. I hate to say it but I’m just going to start the show and wiki the differences in the book. I have way to much to read to get caught up on a series I lost interest in years ago.

If I’m not dead yet yeah I’ll read and definitely reread the series since I dont remember shit from dance of dragons minus the addition of numerous manin characters

I will read them. I dont mind waiting for books. I have a tendency to wait to read books at the end of a series anyway.

Nope…my ending, Jon Snow marries Danny, they rule over the kingdom uniting all the houses in peace, lots of people die, they eventually settle down and have several children and start a dragon farm, Tyrion becomes master of dragons!!!

I normally only reread books if I remember them as being great. Not sure I would reread this series, but I’ll read the last one.

I’ll read it if the series if it’s ever done. I’m not reading anymore bullshit he puts out in between, like this nonsense this month. Furthermore, I’m not giving my money…or his publisher for letting him get away with this shit. If I can find the paperbacks in a quarter bin at a car wash, I’m in!

Anyone who thinks the books will end differently for the show is out of their mind.

Personally I think he’s waiting to see how the show ending is received. If people hate it, he’ll change it

But he and the producers have always said both will end the same ,

@Troy they both really said that? Didn’t know that. So what will be the point of reading Winds of Winter when I’ll already know the ending because of the show.
