They’re written to be for middle grade kids but I’ve noticed that almost everyone I’ve seen who likes them are teenagers and up. I’m 17 and they’re my favorites ??? They explore controversial topics that most people try to hide from their kids such as race, religion, gender, and sexual orientation. They’re extremely diverse in the cast of characters and I absolutely love them, but you HAVE to be open minded ^_^ Hope this helps

I read them for the first time when I was 17. I’m 24 now, and to this day I adore the books, and wouldn’t be the reader I am today if I hadn’t read them

I didn’t start reading them until my late 20s. I love them. I still love to read Harry Potter even though I started the series as a child.

I did read them in middle school but I’m planning on rereading them so I can complete the series.

For me I started to read them in elementary/middle school, and now that I’m older one of the joys of rereading them is nostalgia.

Anyone I’d say. If you enjoy them there’s no age limit in my mind.

I started reading them in middle school, but then read the heroes of Olympus series in my late teens, and I loved reading them just as much, if not more than percy Jackson. I think they’re good no matter your age!

Any age. I’m in college now and still read his books, old or new. I first read them in high school (PJO, around when the movie came out). I don’t plan on stopping either anytime soon.

Just because a series is middle grade doesn’t mean you can’t read it. Both The Hobbit and The Chronicles of Narnia are classified as children’s books yet many adults still read them.
