Just finished book 2. Never has a book make me scream out loud before. And I cried like a baby. Book hangover for sure. I’m so addicted to this series.
I only read the first one. The second one is in my TBR pile. I really like the author’s writing. It was a very different genre for me so I went in with an open mind. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
I didn’t like the first one (Court of Thorns & Roses) & didn’t continue into the rest series. I have a friend who also didn’t like the 1st but loves all the rest of them so ?♀️
I did enjoy reading it, but I’m not interested enough to continue reading the series. No problem with the writing or the plot or anything, but it’s not got me hooked enough to make me read the whole series.
Couldn’t force myself to finish the first book. A few of my friends made it halfway through the second one before they gave up. Unpopular opinion but we all hated it, as well as what books we made it through in her other series.
@Caylynn the first 1/4 of the second book is very similar to the first book but it has its reasons and from then it’s a 180 degree turn around and really takes off. My issue with the second book is that all main characters have massive personality changes like she decided to go in a completely different direction from what she set out in the first book.
Interesting take on a beauty and the beast retelling, worth the read, but really it’s laying the foundations for the other 2 books (the second of which makes the first look like child’s play!). Definitely worth reading, one of my fav authors, though I rate her throne of glass series more!
I’m not going to lie. I avoided this series like the plague for awhile because I didn’t want to be disappointed. Finally, I got it at the library so that if I was disappointed at least I didn’t pay anything out of pocket. Best thing I’ve read in awhile. I read the books in 3 days. I haven’t been that hooked on anything since Harry Potter. Love.
It’s one of my favorite books ever, Sarah j Maas is an awesome writer, i adore her work
My daughter is reading it now and says she thoroughly enjoys it.
I️ loved it!
I loved it so much. A lot of people told me that the first three chapters were boring but I had to disagree
Just finished the 3rd book in the series….eagerly awaiting the fourth!

Anxiously Awaiting the next Book!!
Really good and one of my favorite series!
Preordered the next book.. I love this series

First two were amazing! Third one was meh, but I’m still so excited for the next one!
Loved it!
My fave!
It started out very slow but midway I was intrigued
I absolutely loved it!! May can not come quickly enough. I need more of this story in my life.
I was kind of dragging through it at least until the middle. It got much better in the second half. Then book 2 really got good!
Love it ?
I can’t wait to start this series. After I finish LOTR, of course.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Such an amazing series I really enjoyed the books
It’s good. Better than the other two. Still feels original before she started overusing lines and scenarios.
Actually wait, I’m getting muddled.
Second one is also very good.
Love, love, love
Its one of my favorites…book 2 is amazing tho.
Love it
First was good. Second book was amazing. Third was……….
Horrible.
Ugh.
What are the titles in this series?
A court of thorns and roses
A court of mist and fury
A court of wings and ruin
And a novella coming out in May
@Rikki thank you.
You’re welcome ?
It’s entertaining. It’s not the best I’ve read but it’s fun..

I loved it. I’m ready for the next book.
I really enjoyed the first book, but unlike most people, I hated the second book.
I think the 2nd book was my least favorite. I liked the 1st one, but loved the 3rd one, which also seems to be an unpopular opinion.
Great 🙂 one of the best ever
One of my favorite series of all time! Absolutely loved it! The first book was good and then they just got better ?
My fav series. Book 2 is even better than book 1 which I didn’t think would be possible
No literary masterpiece or anything but it’s fun ?
I did enjoy reading it, but I’m not interested enough to continue reading the series. No problem with the writing or the plot or anything, but it’s not got me hooked enough to make me read the whole series.
Loved it!
Love it.. but book 2 is the best!
Love, love, love it. Read it.
LOOOOOOVE it. Read all of them so far. Bk 2 was THE best.
Wasnt my favorite but it was good

Book 1 was torturous for me to get through. But I found books two and three to be much better.
Yeah I’ve heard that a lot. But my friends couldn’t stand the second book at all so I’m trusting their opinion.

I found the first one to be really slow and it was really dragging but it picks up in the last 25% then books 2 & 3 are just fantastic.
It’s my fall back book series. If I’m in a reading slump…I re-read 🙂

The first book of the series was quite good. Second was amazing. The third……… ???it was horrid.
It’s my favorite series EVER ????????
Loved
I really enjoyed them. I’m looking forward to the book of short stories
I enjoyed it. The second one is so much better.

So good! Loved Throne of Glass series too.
Meh. Wasn’t all that impressed.
Loved it.
