I loved the 3 books in the The Dalai Lama’s Cat series by David Michie: The Dalai Lama’s Cat, The Dalai Lama’s Cat and the Art of Purring, The Dalai Lama’s Cat and the Power of Meow. Also a 5 book series by Richard Paul Evans, called the walk series, the books are: The Walk, Miles to Go, Road to Grace, Step of Faith, Walking on water They are both kind of inspirational series. I am not really religious but these series had great messages.

Also, “Summer at Tiffany” by Hart about a young girl in college working at Tiffany during the War II. She spent a summer in NYC, met movie stars, saw the end of WWII, it is a wonderful, uplifting book!

// nods // I read the book a couple of years ago … laughed so hard that I cried, stomach hurting, tears streaming down my face…. a couple of times tried to read parts to my husband and couldn’t because I was laughing so hard so I’d pass the book to him and then HE would be crying from laughing so hard.

Oh yea…. this will get you smiling – and more!

O gee I didn’t even think of that. The furiously happy is a about a women that suffers from depression and forces her self to go out and do stuff. I think it would be relatable for me at this point. We shall see
