I only get library books when I’m looking to expand my collection. I don’t buy books until I sample them and see if I like em.

Every. Day. I ruminate over this. 400 unread books in the house, perhaps more if I look where I’ve hidden them, and I still have a pile of library books calling my name

I switch between library, my physical books and my kindle books. Just depends on what book appeals to me the most at the time.
