Literally just this very second finished this. It’s amazing (first one I’ve read of hers!) with thought provoking topics and a great ending with lots in between. 5 stats for me!

The Storyteller was the first of hers that I read. It got me hooked on Jodi Picoult.
19 Minutes haunted my mind for weeks after I finished it.
So did The Pact.

Read the Storyteller, it is in my top 5 of books, if not number one.

I just finished Mercy!! Very good!!

2
Johanna

She’s so good at handling controversial topics

2
Annie

I agree!! She takes you out of your comfort zone without turning you off. The topics can be really heavy, but her writing is so elegant, and her characters are so intriguing I can never put the book down.

2
Monica

@Annie but the ending of “Songs of the Humpback Whale”, my soul is still crying.

1
Annie

I read that one about a year ago. It was good, but it wasn’t one of my favorites. Still some beautiful writing and great characterization in that story though!

1
Monica

@Annie I was so mad at the end. So Mad. Still am more than a year later.

2
Johanna

Songs of the Humpback Whale was the first of her books I read and I fell in love with her reading it. A lot of the endings of her books make me mad because the twists seem so unnecessary. I still love her though
