Mercy Thompson and the A&O series by Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrew’s Kate Daniels, Hidden Legacy and Inn Keepers series. I’m actually not a fan of romance, but as part of a larger, well-rounded story, I enjoy it.

I don’t really read paranormal romance but I do enjoy Urban Fantasy so I can second the Mercy Thompson books and Kate Daniel’s. They definitely have a romantic subplot. If you like those you can try Sookie Stackhouse by Charleine Harris and The Others by Ann Bishop.

If you want more historical fantasy then I’ll rec. Juliet Marillier, Katherine Arden and Naomi Novik.

If you are ok with ya. I’d rec The Grisha verse by Leigh Bardugo. Shades of Magic by V.E Schwab or The Cruel Prince and its sequel by Holly Black.

If you like scifi, I’d try the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer.

Grace draven is pretty good. I’m waiting on the third book of her wraith kings (fae) or another addition to her gaslight hades (steampunk) book.

One of my favorites is the Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning.
Her Fever series is really good as well, and a perfect follow up to read after Highlander series. You’ll find the characters (eventually) reintroduced into that series. Fever is more fantasy with a healthy dose of Romance, where’s Highlander is more Romance fantasy. If that makes sense?

Darynda Jones- Charlie Davidson Series (detective, fantasy romance, and tons of comedic relief)

-Sarah J Maas: Court of Thorns and Roses Series (more Romance)
Throne of Glass Series (more fantasy with added romance) both are great reads.

-Jayne Castle (or as Amanda Quick): Arcane Society novels, Looking Glass trilogy, Rainshadow novels

-Christine Feehan: Sea Haven Series

-Katie MacAlister: Aisling Grey, Guardian Series

-Ilona Andrews: Nevada Baylor Series (this ones probably her most Romance centered series), Kate Daniels Series,
& Innkeeper Series

-Chloe Neill: Chicagoland Vampire Series

-Karen Chance: Cassandra Palmer Series

-Diana Rowland: Kara Gillian Novels

-J R Ward: Black Dagger Brotherhood Series (serious alpha male shapeshifter romance fantasy style books)

There’s also Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake Series. The first handful are really great. They do get a little…or a lot more raunchy and sexually exotic as the series progresses. Forewarning: They start having serious moments of beastiality (ex. Sex with shapeshifters in half form) if you can get past that they’re entertaining.
