Hard Love by Ellen Wittlinger has a lesbian character as the narrator’s love interest. There is also a short story called The Acuteness of Desire by Michael Lowenthal, but it’s quite sexual, so you have been warned lol I’m having trouble thinking of LGBT books though sadly.. ?

Island Boys Don’t Cry by Aurora Gayle. One of the main characters is gay and lives in a small third world country where it isn’t cool to be gay. He is a teacher and A student accuses him of sexual molestation and the story takes several interesting twists and turns from there.

I like Every Day by David Levithan, and I consider it to be LGBTQIA+ because the main character doesn’t have a determined sex/gender, which makes their gender and sexuality fluid.

Also- Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things- it’s a really good paranormal YA. One of the main couples is M-M, they are my favorite couple, and the strongest romance story in the book

I’m reading The secrets of my Life by Caitlyn Jenner right now. It’s really interesting so far.

I read that too.. It honestly made me angry because I feel like she bashed her entire family and was extremely disrespectful. However, I also like the Kardashians, so maybe that’s why I was irritated as well. ?

@Keshia I just finished reading Kris Jenner’s book, and just read the first chapter of Caitlyn’s book so it’s going to be interesting to see the two different perspectives.
