@Jackie, I’ll keep checking it out in our local bookstores. I only afford a hardcopy. Got no resources whatsoever to buy it online.

If you like historical/biblical fiction WITH battles Cliff Graham has several excellent books. He is ex-military and knows that side of things and then brings in biblical battles. I thought his Lion of War Series was outstanding.

The Baxter Family; there are a couple of different series under the Baxter Family; they are fabulous; couldn’t put any of them down. You would probably have to look at her website to get the order in which to read.

Definitely anything by Francine Rivers. Start with Redeeming Love or Mark Of The Lion (series). Frank E. Peretti (I’ve read This present darkness, Piercing The Darkness, The prophet, An oath – all great. And then illusion scares and confuses me. Can’t finish it). I read only 1 book by Terri Blackstop and totally enjoyed every second of it. I need to get more of her books.
