All of them.

The best, I think, goes to Stormlight, but I will never not be willing to read anything Sanderson writes.

Joseph Williams Skyward is fantastic I lived it!!

I heard his characters are something shallow and act like teenagers. How true is that in your eyes (only ever read The Final Empire by him)

Yes, big time. I got away from Fantasy books for ten years and read the original Mistborn trilogy this summer, and am just about done with Elantris.

@Dylan Have you read the short story of Mistborn in the Arcanum Unbound collection? It rocked my world about Mistborn! To answer the initial question though… Stormlight!!!

I wasn’t a fan of Legion and didn’t care much for the first book of the second Mistborn series. I still haven’t continued it yet…

Past that I think I’ve read everything he’s written, and loved it.

I’ve just finished Mistborn and continue reading this series, but at the same time, I started The way of kings- I’ve read about 30-35% and I don’t know what to think about it, it didn’t grab me into its world and I’m kind of disappointed. Based on opinions above- should I give it one more shot?

@Olga one more shot!

@Olga That’s exactly what happened to me too….I’d like to revisit but we’ll see…

I started with Mistborn and absolutely LOVE both eras – but Stormlight is like a religious experience. The Reckoners series and The Rithmatist are some of the best YA books I’ve ever read.

Honestly all his previous stuff I felt was really good but in the end it was preparation for stormlight which is his masterpiece (this far)… can’t wait for the next release

For now I have read both eras of mistborn, Elantris, and up to book 3 of Stormlight (including edgedancer). I am reading book 3 now..
And… Its a difficult choice! I like mistborn, but that might be because it was my first experience with Sanderson. I love stormlight as well!
