I’m not sure it’s on kindle but I had a pal who read it and she said it made books like 50 shades seem like kids novels ?she hated 50 shades with a passion cause of how it tried to portray BDSM x

I’ve read the first one of those but found it a bit heavy on rape…not my thing at all

Laura

I’ve read the sleeping beauty ones, they are a bit Uhh….. I don’t have the right word…. But there is quiet a bit if rape male and female, I only read them all as I want to find out what happened to the lead female character, I’m a book horder and after reading them, I quickly gave them away, which is not like me, if that gives you an idea of what they’re like

I stopped reading 50 shades after the first 100 pages I think it was. I kept shouting at her to get a life and if her ‘breath hitched’ one more time ?

You could tell it was dodgy fanfiction ? though I’ve read better fanfics that have been written by high school kids ?

And her bloody equilibrium ?

Becky

I couldn’t believe this adult writer kept describing the vagina as ‘down there’ I’m with Terri I’ve read some amazing fanfics written by 18 year olds. 50 shades was awful.

Worst book ever grammatically and repeating the same thing constantly !

Not to mention that the bloke was basically abusive, but because it’s dressed up with him being a billionaire, it’s a bestseller.

Anais Nin is the best.

I used to have a copy of The Secretary, not the best but an awful lot better than 50 shades. I used to read the Confessions of series by Rosie Dixon but in all honesty they are terrible ?

It’s very hard to write sex scenes. I’m about halfway through one I started in my early 30s. I read it and cringe ?
Very much behind closed doors writer now ?

WARNING!
The sauna was hot and the smell of wood inviting. Lying down on one of the higher benches she felt relaxed and on the verge of sleep when the door opened and in walked Jack. She drank in the sight of him, his toned chest, slightly hairy, his strong arms, his lean legs and the tell tale bulge in his shorts. Neither of them spoke as he crossed over to her and knelt on the bench below her. He longed to touch her, the heat of the sauna only fuelling his desire, but he needed a sign, he would not take advantage of her. It didn’t normally stop him but this new found morality continued to surprise him, mind you Charlie was a woman not a girl. A beautiful older woman who he knew he had to have whatever the cost.
She could see the turmoil in his eyes and pushed herself up onto her elbows, turning onto her side and reaching a hand behind his head before pulling him towards her. The passion between them was instant and intense. His hands stroked her body up and down. Her skin was so soft and silky from the heat that he just wanted to kiss her all over. Charlie lay there feeling every touch that his hands and lips made. Undoing the ties on her bikini he cupped both breasts and she arched her back up to meet his hands.
She entwined her fingers in his hair as he took each nipple in his mouth, teasing it slowly, gently almost reverently. His tongue was doing wondrous things as she ran her hand down his body towards his shorts.
“If you do that it’ll be over before it’s started.” Jack murmured. “I want you so much Charlie. I’ve never wanted anyone so much.” His hands reached down to her bikini bottoms but his words had brought Charlie back to her senses.

Keri Honey I blushed copying and pasting this ?

Keri Honey I shall make it my mission after my children’s book to get back on this and finish it and get it published!

This was the blurb I hastily wrote years ago.
Can I kiss you?” His eyes were eager, watching for an answer in her face.
“Why?” She asked, knowing that she longed to more than anything.
“Because I want to.” He replied huskily.
“But that’s not part of the deal.” She started to distance herself from him, knowing where a kiss might lead, but he took her hand and pulled her back towards him.
“To hell with the deal.”

She thought it would be an adventure, an exciting journey through all the best that life had to offer. She didn’t realise how many lives a little white lie could affect.

Although I agree 50 shades opened the door on speaking freely and not being embarrassed to talk about sex in general and erotic fiction. Was a bit taboo before and read in secret ?

I loved it too……?❤

I liked 50 Shades too and have read the series a number of times. I do agree though by the time I got to the 3rd book I was skipping through the sex scenes. I’m a romantic at heart and liked the story behind the sex. I’ve read quite a bit of erotic fiction and never read anything that I thought was excellent. All on a par IMO
