I’ve yet to read any FR books. Have a few hundred ebooks of them. And 100 from dragonlance and close to 300 of star wars ebooks.

The both have good and bad. In my opinion, the first Dragonlance Trilogy is pretty conventional and boring. The second Trilogy is where things get really good.

The R.A. Salvatore Drizz’t books are pretty darned good right from the beginning, but I don’t think any of them are as GREAT as the second DL trilogy. 😛

What’s the second trilogy called? I think I have it on my SD card.

They changed the name of the series over the years, so it’s hard to say. First book is The Time of the Twins, I am pretty sure.

Time of the twins, test of the twins and war of the twins I think. And yes I have them. Might have to jump onto them soon.

I happen to have read the second trilogy first, by accident. So that might color my judgement. But in my opinion, the second trilogy was far better than the first. Although the first is good. 🙂

If you get tired of specifically swords and sorcerer stuff try The Dresden Files for fun!

What are they about. I like all sorts. I read the ring of five dragons. A mixture of sci fi tech and fantasy. Great read by the way.

I grew up reading the dragonlance books. The cemented me as a life long fan of fantasy books. I recently reread the chronicles series and still enjoyed them.

Yeah they were my escape when I was a teenager. Had very few friends in real life but felt very close to the characters in the stories.

Sturm Brightblade is an amazing character. I found the chronicles collectors edition at a used book store, to good to pass up. I never read the forgotten realms books so can not give an opinion about them.
