Don’t understand how anyone can get a book & read the last chapter first before starting the book from the start ? . It’s 2.30am now I’ve 50 left pages but but I’ll wait till morning to find out eventually how it ends .

Would totally spoil it, wouldn’t even think about doing it.

I know some people often do this but it’s not for me. It would spoil the thrill and anticipation of the read for me.

I would have to stay awake and plough on! If I had got that far! I give up on turkeys as at my age life is too short to waste on dull or badly written stuff. So if the book isn’t worth my reading, then I will look at the end to see what the writer did.

The only time I’ve read the end was in one of Ruth Rendell’s. I had to make sure the dog survived!
