I mostly watch old reruns (comfort viewing) but when it comes to newer stuff it’s probably more a case of my reading influencing my TV choices. For example the excellent adaptation of Joe R. Lansdale’s Hap and Leonard series. I’m very hopeful that Robert Towne and Mel Gibson will move forward with their TV adaptation of James Crumley’s Dancing Bear.

Only to the extent that I might seek out a book having watched the tv adaption of it (or vice versa). In general I read the books I fancy 🙂

The Dalziel & Pascoe TV series got me reading the books and in my opinion, Reginald Hill is one of the finest writers ever…

Bodyguard was compulsive TV viewing, but I’d much rather read Ian Patrick’s Rubicon and Stoned Love in a similar genre.

Good news! Addicts after my own heart. I don’t watch/have a telly either. I thought I was the only one (or at least a rarity).

@Tom No Tom, more and more of us don’t trust what we are being told. We’re being manipulated, so we don’t watch.
