Kind of like Divergent. I think that’s what I think of most

I was thinking divergent, the host, and a bit of kill bill (which is a movie not a book)

I thought Divergent too. The factions in Divergent made little sense to me. The tribes in New world rising feel more realistic… Even though we haven’t met all of them yet.

I get a little hunger games vibe to ( like the minister is snowish and arstid is the leader lady from district 13)

I honestly felt it reminded me of Mockingjay!

No… I actually felt relieved that it was different. The synopsis said Divergent meets Mad Max which is accurate, but it’s not TOO much like anything.

Oh yeah definitely not TOO much like anything … just kind of small details that are reminiscent of other books

I really agree with @Destinee about Astrid. She really reminded me of Coin from The Hunger Games. While the Tribes definitely had a Mad Max/Divergent vibe to them. Mad Max in their look and colors and Divergent in their tactics.

A mix between Divergent and Mockingjay. (Not the series. Just those two specific books mashed into one)
